As a true fashionista would, Salina describes her style most often as inconsistent. She goes from tomboy to girly, from streetwear to semi-formal. She enjoys combining clothes into weird combinations, not into what she's used to seeing around her. She has a vision and she tackles it in her fashion choices.

Salina points out the irony of trends as the purpose of a trend is to stay ahead in the fashion world. She finds it curious that people claim they want a unique style, yet they follow a trend. She says "I feel like people focus too much on trends and not enough on what they truly like." For her, trends and name brands are non essential when putting together a unique outfit or maintaining a personal style. She states that most of her clothes are secondhand, thrifted, or no-name. She doesn't necessarily avoid brands, she just doesn't seek them out.

When asked if her biological background played any part in her style and the way she chooses to dress daily, she says that people often tell her that she dresses like most Germans. She simply says "I feel like it's just my personality. Maybe it's both, but I just go for what excites me." Her motto is similar to many: "If I look good, I feel good."

Salina states that though her style likely gives off an inconsistent statement to others, she likes trying different styles. She says she doesn't necessarily hope to actively make a statement, she just wants people to see that she has her own style and isn't afraid to change it up.

Salina says:

Finding your style is a series of trial and error. Go for what YOU think looks good on YOU. When I was in high school, I had a lot of atrocious outfits, but I also explored a lot. This made me realize what worked for my body. I know I don't look good in everything but I also know what I look great in. And I worry about how it makes me feel when I wear it.
